Steve Timm was born in 1954 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, lives in rural southern Wisconsin, and teaches English as a second language at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to Averrage, a chapbook, Stragetics, has been published by Bronze Skull, and an e-book, Disparity, by BlazeVOX. In 2004, a short film by Ya-Ling Tsai, A Poem by Steve Timm, in which he performs an improvised sound poem, was shown at the Wisconsin Film Festival.
This chapbook was printed in an edition of 50. The text is inkjet, the covers were printed with linoleum block on various papers.
