Peter O'Leary has written several books, most recently Wren/Omen, a limited edition chapbook from Brian Teare's Albion Press. His other books of poetry are Depth Theology, Watchfulness, and A Mystical Theology of the Limbic Fissure. Peter also wrote the critical book Gnostic Contagion: Robert Duncan and the Poetry of Illness, one of the first monographic treatments of Duncan, Peter's master in the craft.
Peter lives in Berwyn, Illinois and teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Vocations to poetry and religion have committed him to the pursuit of an "itinerarium mentis in deum," the journey of the mind to God, with particular attention devoted to the mystagogical-initiatic and the mytho-poetical.
Peter can be visited at his website, Lux Hominem.
